The Mother's Day in Italy sounds in some ways much like the Mother's Day in the U.S. I see many resemblances such as the "treating like a queen" or the giving of gifts or flowers, or the treating out to eat at a fine restaurant.

Yeah, that is the same from where I am from. I wonder where Mother's Day originated though. Is this article trying to say the 1st one was in Italy?

Yeah Motherís day is really a special event. I always send a fresh flower bouquet to my mom from Same Day Flower Delivery NYC services. I am in New York but she got a bouquet on every motherís day. This is my way of expressing love to my mom.
